How much air should i have in my AIRHAWK and how do you adjust and change the air pressure ?

The AIRHAWK products works most effectively with a minimal amount of air.You sit "in" it , not on it. DO NOT OVERINFLATE. The AIRHAWK seating system comes with a small portable hand air pump for vehicle/office products that allows you to fill the seating system with air. For MC you inflate by mouth. To inflate the AIRHAWK seating system to optimal firmness, sit on the seating system and open up the valve and allow yourself to sink down into the seating system as far as possible without bottoming out on the seat. Properly inflated you should only be off your existing seat about 0.5". Each seating system comes with detailed pictoral instructions

Can I repair the cushion if it breaks ?

Yes - for minor leaks we have a PVC Repair Kit. Contact your country distributor.

How do I know witch size that fits best ?

For best fit - contact your nearest country shop/distributor.

How can an AIRHAWK cushion help me with my backproblem ?

Working for long hours in a truck, excavator or any kind of vehicle/motorcycle can not only be uncomfortable but could significantly affect your health and safety. Pressure points build where you make contact with the seat, cutting off your blood supply to your buttocks and legs increasing the risk of circulatory problems. Vibrations felt while driving can cause spinal cord compression, lower back pain, numbness and fatigue. When you experience these problems you start to move in your seat, changing position insted of being seated correctly. With the AIRHAWK you can be seated correctly for many hours without any problem.

If I have a seat with a heatsystem - does the cushion let the heat through ?

Yes - it just takes a couple of minutes more than usual.

If I have an air ride seat do I need an AIRHAWK seating system?

An air ride seat will absorb road and truck vibration, but does not have the ability to distribute weight and pressure like the AIRHAWK seating system. Over time, blood flow is still restricted sitting on any foam base seat with or without the air ride system.

What happens if you already have a backproblem before starting to use an AIRHAWK cushion ?

Most common is that you will get muscle-ache the first couple of days - this will disapear. Then you will feel much better thanks to the fact that you will be able to sit correctly in your seat and vibrations are reduced.

Is the seating system warmer to sit on?

Sitting on the AIRHAWK seating system in your vehicle will not be any warmer than on your regular seat, although with enhanced blood flow, you may experience a slightly warmer sensation.

Seated on a motorcycle it will let air flow inside between the cells and you will not experience a "hot seat".

How high does the seating system raise you off of your existing seat?

When properly immersed in the seating system, the driver will sit 1-1,5 cm or less above the existing seat.

How do I attach the cushion to my motorcycle ?

THe cover has a anti-skid material on the bottom - so when seated on the cushion it will not move. You also get a pair of straps along ( with instructions ) when purchasing an AIRHAWK Motorcycle cushion.
